Gospel Benefit for Delmar Cobble PTO

Friday, March 25th was the Southern Gospel Singing benefit for the Delmar Cobble PTO held at Parkade Baptist Church accross from the school.  Even though it was a cold evening there was a good turn out.  Four gospel groups shared in song: Praises to Him the Liberty Bells, Ambassadors of Grace, Out of the Valley, and Devaline Overton.  The event raised approximately $950.00 Delmar Cobble PTO would like to thank everyone for coming and donating to this wonderful event.

This is a test.

Okay, here we go with a new experience for me.
Gretchen Roberts, Blake's Mom, set this up for us - thank you Gretchen.
I am excited and hope that this is a wonderful benefit for the parents and care givers of students at our school.
With a blog I can enter information you as parents and caregivers need for your student.
This will be much faster and won't get lost in the backpack or ate by the dog.

First Alert:
Challenge Day is April 14th - Susan Schaeffer from Missouri Special Olympics will be helping Bethany Moss coordinate a day full of fun.  The theme is Beach Party (I hope that is correct).  It has to do with beaches.
Bethany has lots of plans and will be sending a letter home this week to each of you with more information.
Gina Lascoula (Frannie's Mom) is heading up getting the food organized.  When you see these three people tell them thanks.

That is it for today.
I am planning on just little blurbs so you can get on and read and get off.

Send a note to school and let us know what you think.
